Avoid Snoring

. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. 1. Try sleeping on your side. 2. Try tilting your head back when you are on your side. This prevents the tongue from blocking the throat. 3. Most importantly, Don't drink alcohol or take depressant medications before bedtime. They can relax your body too much and can also prevent you from automatically repositioning when your airway is momentarily blocked while sleeping. They can mainly be a root cause of snoring. There are other things you can do, but these three are the easiest in the short term. Your family doctor can get you help if it is so bad that it is affecting your health. This is called obstructive sleep apnea.
