Stop Snoring Remedy
. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. The breathe right strips absolutely help as well as the snore away. The problem can be far more serious so the advice to go to a sleep clinic to be checked for sleep apnea is probably the best advice. However, I know that those types of solutions aren't always financially feasible. It is important to conquer your snoring as you may fail to wake up one morning when a big snore turns into your last breath. the problem may be the flesh in the back of your throat when you're laying back the fleshiness from your front may meet the fleshiness from your back and result in snoring. Weight loss is a possible solution to the problem. Another solution could be as easy as chewing gum. Chew a few pieces at once in fact. The great big chewing motions you'll have to use will strengthen the fleshiness and hopefully reduce the snoring. Remember the snoring may kill you but if you're content with some hubba bubba you can extend your life a few more nights.
I've never tried it because I don't snore but I hear Breathe Right strips work. Wouldn't hurt to try it. You can get them OTC.
Being over weight can contribute greatly to a snoring problem as can sleeping on your back . Even a stuffy nose can be a problem . Two things I am aware of are a dental appliance worn at night, and a small operation to reduce some of the soft floppy tissues at the back of the throat . Lastly a positive pressure breathing apparatus can be worn at night . I would think a sleep clinic or specialist would be a good choice ,failing that perhaps an ENT specialist could be helpful . When snoring gets so bad it interrupts breathing at night ,it can seriously affect heart rhythms so it can be a true medical concern!
go to wal*mart and find a spray called snore-away, you spray this in your throat and it is supposed to help. they also have breathe easy strips that you put on your nose and it opens up the nasal area and you don't snore.
For some people snoring is not easy to stop and there is a sleep disorder sometimes associated with snoring. It's called SLEEP APNEA which can deprive a person of sleep and as a result, put a person in possible danger. It would be a good thing for you to take a short question type test to notice if you might have sleep apnea. The questions are at: http://www. sleepapnea. org/info/practitioner/sdbhomecare. html.
Some people have had doctors insert thin pieces of plastic above their soft pallets to keep their uvulas from closing off their airway while sleeping. They work for some people, but not all.
Believe it or not, some people have cured their snoring by learning to play the didgeridoo. This instrument helps them to learn circular breathing which strengthens muscles around the airway. It takes about 4 months for this to be effective.

Some people have found that weight loss reduced their snoring.
Whatever you do though, please do the questions on sleep apnea.
You should get checked out for sleep apnea, especially if you are overweight or have a lot of daytime fatigue. Your snoring could mean you need treatment or weight loss. Let your doctor know and he/she can decide how much work-up needs to be done. In the meantime, avoid things that make you sleep deeply right before bed (alcohol, sleeping pills, etc).
