Snore Ring
We have tested the ring snore pressure point, mouthguard, spray for the throat, nasal spray. We are now sleeping in separate beds and are still on honeymoon. I'm so depressed about it and desperately need someone to help me by giving us a solution that can run or at least something we have not tried yet. Thanks guys-Please help. I was glad to find this – Is it possible to treat snoring through lifestyle changes like losing weight, quitting smoking, changing sleep habits, avoiding alcohol and sedatives before going to bed. If snoring is caused by nasal congestion, nasal strips, decongestants or steroid nasal sprays can be used. If these changes do not improve snoring, then it's time to see a doctor. Gargle alt water before he sleeps that worked for me!!!
If he's snoring really bad he should go to his doctor and and arrange for a sleep test. He may have sleep apnea, which is a very serious health condition.
what about Breathe Right nasal strips?
You should have your husband see his doctor about a sleep study. Really bad snoring is generally a sign of sleep apnea, which can make him really fatigued in the short run and very harmful in the long run. The doctor may order a sleep study, which will reveal if he has this condition. Treatment (non-surgical) involves him using a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure device); it's kind of a small air pump with a breathing mask. It won't help the bedroom romance when he's wearing it, but at least you can sleep in the same bed.
By the way, I presume he's tried all the usual stuff, like losing weight, not drinking alcohol or caffeine before bed, not sleeping on his back (sew a tennis ball into the back of his sleep shirt!), etc.
Good luck. My *wife* now uses a CPAP, and I can finally get some sleep!
oh my dad does that! he will fall asleep on the couch while we’re watching tv so we just hit him really hard and he wakes up a little and stops for a couple minutes and then gets back into it. it is soooooo annoying. we tried to make him wear those bandage thigns but he was too stuborn. there was this one nose spray losenge sort of thing I saw on tv. idk haha.
