Snoring Appliance
I'm open to suggestions. My husband has sleep apnea and the doctor gave him a CPAP Machine. He says it feels uncomfortable and it will not. Do not try strips of breathing apparatus or mouth. The doctor wanted to do surgery. . Tonsilectomy and rhinoplasty, but he refused. She said she is really serious, because the study showed that sleep was not getting enough oxygen and taking almost 20 episodes of apnea per night. I've tried earplugs, but it really does not help. We have a sofa, but the guy with a reclining chair at each end so it is uncomfortable to drive over. We have a spare room. I have a baby of 22 months and 17 years as a child I'm Homeschooling. I need some sleep. I'm so tired and cranky. I feel so tired. Lack of sleep and my doctor says that I am severely anemic. I am concerned that if something does not improve soon, my children are without a parent. This is not healthy for any of us. Well, here is your answer. I sat down and told us everything we just said. Especially the last sentence of the second. . Something or someone has to give him a slap in the head upward to wake (no pun). If he does not want to hear him say they must keep their life insurance paid up now. . And will be monitored constantly to make sure it is. . Maybe I can get the hint then. .
go to wallgreens and get some foam ear plugs, they are comfy, I wear them to bed because my husband snores, they don't hurt your ears either, and they are for things like sleeping on the plane or whatever.
move out of the room, not much else you can do if he will not wear the machine,, there are those throat sprays,, He can try those sore throat sprays also, just before he goes to bed,, spray his throat,

get rid of his sorry butt. seems to me he only cares about himself. If he truly cared for any of you he would care more about his health not to mention you. Wake him up 15 times a nite for a couple weeks and if he dont go do something about this than the balls in your court. also ear plugs are dangeruos something could happen such as afire and you would not hear the alarm.

I would (seriously) recommend that you make a recording of his snoring. . . . a nice LOUD one. Play it back for him to show him just how inconsiderate he's being to you guys.
you just have to keep pesuading him until he concurs to one of the treatment. divorce is not an option afterall u knew he snores before u married him so who is to blame
oh my! I can relate!!!! I have been dealing with it for years. it helps me to go to bed and get to sleep first. I also put a pillow over my head and his. if this does not work you should go buy one of those 30 dollar blow up mattresses with an air pump and one of you should sleep in the living room. best of luck sweety!
What's wrong with sleeping on the couch? How about putting a pillow over the husband's face when he starts snoring to show him how much it annoys you? Ever try duct tape over his mouth?
my wife says I snore loud when I am drunk she got some ear plugs or she will sleep somewhere else or I sleep on the couch try that may help

they make a throat spray available at walgreens and walmart that works
Sleep in other place( other bedroom).
I have one of these husbands, too! With the same problems, too. On top of it all, I have insomnia. There is really no answer for it, but in your case, get HIM to sleep on the sofa, uncomfortable or not. You deserve the bed.
try acupuncture, it is very effective for snoring, it worked for me.
dont worry about it so much i'm 13 n thats the same problem that my mom faces with my dad SOMETIMES. if it really bothers you record his snoring sound in a recorder n tell him what its like. never make him sleep right straight on his back but at one side
sleep somewhere else like in a guest room.
